Due to the weight-bearing exercises included in classes, bones become denser and stronger, helping to combat osteoporosis.

Isometric contractions are one of the most effective ways of increasing muscular strength. In fact, one of our favourite statistics is “using isometric exercise for 6 minutes would be the equivalent muscle work of 30 to 35 minutes of gym work on commercial weightlifting.” (Journal of Applied Research 2006)
