Together with Barrecore teacher Vicki, we now offer Holistic Wellness Coaching, so that you can maximise your well-being.
In these online live-streamed one-to-one coaching sessions, Vicki will uncover your wellbeing challenges and goals holistically in each aspect of your life, from nutrition and rest to mindset and purpose. Using mindfulness techniques tailored to you, the coaching will help you to;
- Identify your “why's", by looking inward through deep inner-world work, and reconnecting to your mind, body and most authentic self.
- Develop your personal toolkit to handle obstacles with ease, let go of what is holding you back and connect to your power within. This will help you let an enjoyable and fulfilling life of meaning and abundance to flow through you.
- Transform your approach to life - physically, mentally and spiritually. Depending on your personal needs, the coaching will help you overcome anxiety, breakthrough mental roadblocks, allow you to de-stress and/or embrace challenge and fear. The internal healing starts to manifest externally, so in transforming your life you can live fully, as well as inspiring those around you.
Vicki's journey to holistic wellness
Barrecore teacher Vicki isn't just a lively instructor in our Chiswick studio, she is also an MSc student in Consciousness, Spirituality & Transpersonal Psychology, a certified Pause Place Practitioner, a Level II Reiki Practitioner, a general health & wellness nut, a graduate from Yale University - and a certified Holistic Wellness Coach through the International Association of Wellness Professionals.
Vicki used to live a pressured and hectic life in the city but would get overwhelmed. After having graduated from Yale University, where she was a proud student athlete and part of the tennis team, she found herself a ‘dream’ job as a tennis agent. She got to travel, meet interesting people, get paid well to work in an industry she was passionate about, but she didn’t feel like herself. She was always stressed, suffered from anxiety, fluctuated in weight, felt generally unmotivated, struggled with digestive issues, constantly battled bad skin, woke up tired after 10 hours’ sleep, and felt generally unfulfilled.
To understand why, she turned her attention inward – to her mind and body. She discovered the power of mindfulness and meditation, which helped her apply the performance and transformational skills she used to use as an athlete, to her everyday life. After all, life is our biggest and most important performance! Being the solution-driven person she is, she wanted to know more about mindfulness and decided to study for an MSc in Spirituality, Consciousness & Transpersonal Psychology.
Today, alongside teaching Barrecore classes, Vicki helps active, pressured and stressed people who feel like they’re always swimming against the current, to slow down, remove blocks, and reconnect to their deepest values. Vicki focuses on integrating mindfulness techniques into every day life - combining Eastern inner-knowing techniques with Western well-being. Her sessions focus on educating and training the mind, emotional and self-awareness development, managing negative habits, and physical and mental fuelling to detoxify and enhance performance. In a world where ‘busy’ is worn as badge of honour, Vicki believes that slowing down to prioritise your holistic wellbeing is a necessary and powerful medicine. By doing the inner work to uncover our truest, deepest and most important values, we can create meaningful and lasting change.
